How to Use Lavender with HubSpot

Everything you need to know about Lavender’s HubSpot integration — for both email and CRM.

✉️ Lavender in HubSpot’s Email Tools

Lavender works directly inside HubSpot, giving you access to:

  • Email Coach

  • Personalization Assistant

  • Frameworks + ChatGPT

  • Template editing

You can use Lavender when:

  • Composing emails on contact records

  • Creating or editing sequences

  • Working with HubSpot templates

Emails sent in HubSpot will be added to your Lavender analytics and emails sent within HubSpot are added to your prospect's contact record.

⚠️ Lavender does not appear in HubSpot’s email marketing tools.


🔧 How to Set It Up

  1. Make sure your Lavender login email matches your HubSpot login email

  2. Confirm you’re on a Pro or Teams plan

🔄 Lavender + HubSpot CRM Integration

Want to bring HubSpot CRM data directly into the Lavender sidebar while you write? This integration lets you surface:

How to Connect HubSpot CRM to Lavender

  1. Click Settings > Integrations

  2. Under CRM Integrations, select “Connect to HubSpot”

  3. Authorize access by signing into your HubSpot account

  4. Return to your Lavender Dashboard and confirm the integration shows “Disconnect from HubSpot”


🧠 How to Use CRM Insights in Emails

  1. Add the recipient's email in a new draft

  2. Open the Personalization Assistant

  3. Click the HubSpot tab

  4. View contact notes, current deal stage, company info, and more — all without leaving your inbox


🛠️ Troubleshooting

Lavender not showing in HubSpot’s email tools?

In Lavender:

  • Go to your Dashboard → Check that your email client is connected

    • Google users should see “Disconnect from Google”

    • Outlook users should see “Disconnect from Outlook”

    If it says “Connect to...”, link your email now.

In HubSpot:

  • Go to Profile & Preferences > General > Email

  • Make sure your email is connected and enabled


CRM data not showing in Lavender?

In Lavender:

  • Go to Dashboard → Settings > Integrations

  • If you see “Connect to HubSpot”, the CRM isn’t connected

  • Click to Connect to get that connection going

In HubSpot:

  • Go to Settings > Integrations

  • Uninstall Lavender, then re-authorize from the Lavender Dashboard
