Now, you can use Lavender within HubSpot to draft and edit emails, sequences, and more.

Use HubSpot as your CRM? You can connect Lavender directly to HubSpot's CRM, allowing you to see information and insights from your CRM data directly inside the Lavender extension while writing an email!

How can I add Lavender to HubSpot's email tools?

HubSpot is now part of our suite of integrations available for users on Individual Pro or Teams plans.

New to Lavender? HubSpot is available to try on our 7-day Pro trial. (New users can set up their trial by visiting install.lavender.ai!)


What to expect from Lavender in HubSpot's email tools 🤔

  • Lavender will automatically appear in HubSpot when you compose an email at a contact record, in Templates, and creating or editing sequences.

  • You can easily pull in templates, edit and personalize with Lavender, and add to your sequences.

  • Lavender’s Email Coach will offer suggestions; all you have to do is click on the suggestion, which will automatically copy to the clipboard for you to paste!

  • Emails sent within HubSpot are added to your prospect's contact record.

  • Emails sent within HubSpot will be counted towards Lavender analytics.

📌 Note: Lavender will not appear within HubSpot's email marketing tools.


How to set up Lavender with HubSpot's email tools🕺

We’ve made it easy to get Lavender in HubSpot up and running!

  1. Confirm the email you're using to log into Lavender is the same one you use to log in to HubSpot. (It must be the same email, or Lavender won’t appear in HubSpot.)

  2. Make sure you're on the correct plan (Individual Pro or Teams) in Lavender

Lavender's HubSpot CRM Integration

If you're using HubSpot as your CRM, you're in luck -- you can now connect Lavender directly to HubSpot's CRM, allowing you to see information and insights from your CRM data directly inside the Lavender extension while writing an email!

How can I access the Lavender to HubSpot CRM connection?

How to set up the Lavender and HubSpot CRM integration

Make your way to your Lavender Dashboard and click on Settings > Integrations.

Under "CRM Integrations", click on the "Connect to HubSpot" button:

From here, you'll be brought to an authorization screen and prompted to either "Create a new HubSpot account" or "Sign in to your HubSpot account". You'll want to sign into your existing HubSpot account.

You will then be brought to the HubSpot log in screen:

Once you've successfully logged in, you'll be brought back to your Lavender Dashboard.

You'll know that the connection was successful if you see "Disconnect from HubSpot" appear under the CRM Integrations:


What to expect from Lavender with the HubSpot CRM connection 🤔

Connecting Lavender to HubSpot's CRM will allow you to see additional details and notes from your lead, prospect or customer's HubSpot record directly into the Lavender extension! Now you'll no longer need to toggle back and forth between multiple screens - the CRM data will be right at your fingertips in your email!

Once you've added the email address of your recipient, click on the Personalization Assistant and then click on the HubSpot button to surface the CRM information:

You'll be able to see specific details, like current stage for both the individual as well as their company:

As well as any notes included on the recipient's Contact:

and more! 🎉


Troubleshooting Lavender in HubSpot

Lavender not appearing in HubSpot's email tools

Let's make sure your email is set up in the correct spots. 👇

In Lavender:

Head to your Dashboard and check to ensure your email client is connected.

  • For Google-based emails, you should see "Disconnect from Google."

  • For Outlook-based emails, you should see "Disconnect from Outlook."

If either Google or Outlook doesn't say disconnect, connect your Google or Outlook account now:

In HubSpot:

Head to your profile picture and click on Profile and Preferences.

Then click on General > Email.

You want to confirm that your email is hooked up and your status is "enabled".

HubSpot CRM information not appearing in Lavender

In Lavender:

Head to your Dashboard to ensure the HubSpot CRM is connected.

  • If you see "Disconnect from HubSpot", HubSpot is connected.

  • If you see "Connect to HubSpot", you'll need to reconnect the integration by following these steps.

In HubSpot:

If you are connected to HubSpot's CRM, but are not seeing the CRM data, it may be that the integration was not given full permissions.

To reset, visit the Integrations section of your HubSpot settings, and uninstall Lavender.

Once you've uninstalled successfully from HubSpot, go back to your Lavender Dashboard and reconnect the integration.
