How do I change my Lavender subscription?

Everything you need to know about upgrading your Lavender account/subscription.

Loving Lavender so much you’re looking to upgrade to access all the features? We’re glad to hear that - and we’ve made upgrading your subscription as easy as possible!

Where do I go to upgrade my account/subscription plan?

You can upgrade your subscription plan directly within the Lavender Dashboard.

The process is different depending on what type of plan you are currently on.

If you need help determining which plan you have, check your billing page.


Trial users

All users who are new to Lavender are given 7 days free of Lavender Pro immediately upon creating their account. (Ready to give Lavender a try? Visit install.lavender.ai to get started.)

You can extend your trial by 7 days (14 days) if you save credit card information before your trial period expires.

You can also extend your trial by inviting friends to try Lavender.

The credit card information form and the invitation button can be found in the Billing tab of your Lavender Dashboard.


Upgrading from a Trial to Lavender Starter, Lavender Pro, or Lavender Teams

To begin the upgrade process, head to your Dashboard.

From there, click on the Billing tab.

In the “Upgrade your plan” section, you'll want to:

  • Select your preferred billing cycle (Yearly or Monthly)

  • Choose your preferred plan

Once you’ve completed those steps, review the selected billing cycle and plan type to ensure your choices are correct.

  • Already have your credit card information saved? Click “Upgrade Now” to process your plan upgrade.

  • Need to add or edit your credit card information? Click “Edit Card Info” and add the information. Then, click “Save Changes and Upgrade”.


​When will the change to my subscription go into effect?

If you upgrade to Lavender Starter or Lavender Pro, your subscription will upgrade at the end of your trial period.

If you are upgrading to Lavender Teams, your subscription will upgrade immediately.

🗒️ Please note: Lavender Teams is designed and recommended for teams of 2+ users. If you are not part of or managing a team, we recommend Lavender Pro!


Upgrading from Lavender Basic to Lavender Starter, Lavender Pro, or Lavender Teams

To begin the upgrade process, you can head to your Dashboard.

From there, click on the Billing tab.

In the “Upgrade your plan” section, you'll want to:

  • Select your preferred billing cycle (Yearly or Monthly)

  • Choose your preferred plan

Once you’ve completed those steps, review the selected billing cycle and plan type to ensure your choices are correct.

Next, add your credit card information in the “Edit Card Details” section.

Click “Edit Card Info” to add the information. Then, click “Save Changes and Upgrade”.

This will upgrade your subscription.

​When will the change to my subscription go into effect?

Your card will be billed immediately, and your subscription will change automatically.

If the Billing page doesn’t immediately reflect the subscription change, try logging out of your Dashboard and logging back in.


Upgrading from Lavender Starter to Lavender Pro or Lavender Teams

To begin the upgrade process, you can head to your Dashboard.

From there, click on the Billing tab.

In the “Upgrade your plan” section, you'll want to:

  • Select your preferred billing cycle (Yearly or Monthly)

  • Choose your preferred plan

Once you’ve completed those steps, review the selected billing cycle and plan type to ensure your choices are correct.

  • Do you have your credit card information saved? Click “Upgrade Now” to process your plan upgrade.

  • Need to add or edit your credit card information? Click “Edit Card Info” and add the information. Then, click “Save Changes and Upgrade”.

This will upgrade your subscription.

If the Billing page doesn’t immediately reflect the subscription change, try logging out of your Dashboard and logging back in.


Upgrading from Lavender Pro to Lavender Teams

🗒️ Please note: when upgrading an individual account to a Lavender Teams account, you will be initially charged for any prorated amount for your seat. Once you invite additional users to your Team, your card will be charged automatically for each additional seat.
