How to Assign or Switch Inboxes After Launching a Campaign

You can change the sending inbox on a live campaign at any time. Here’s how to do it, and what happens when you do.

Assign or switch inboxes

  1. Open your active campaign from the left nav bar

  2. Click on Add/remove sender mailboxes

  3. If your new sender is already active, just click the box and hit "Assign Agents"

💡 If the inbox you want isn’t listed, make sure you've already invited them (see below).


Add a new inbox to Ora

  1. Head back to steps 1 and 2 above, but instead of reassigning an active sender, invite a new one instead

  2. You'll need to follow the steps from this article to invite a new sender

  3. Return to your campaign and assign the inbox as shown above


What happens when you switch inboxes

  • The new inbox picks up where the last one left off

  • Leads won’t receive duplicate emails

  • Ora starts the new sender at a low volume (17/day) and ramps up gradually

  • You can assign multiple inboxes to increase daily volume, but you need to purchase an agent per inbox


Common questions

Will I lose any data if I switch inboxes?
No. All campaign history and logic stay intact, you're just swapping the sender.

Do I need to warm up a new inbox?
We will test your deliverability on your new sender for you and if your inbox passes, there is no need to warm the inbox. Ora handles a ramping your new inbox with a gradual send ramp.

Can I remove the old inbox after switching?
Yes. You can unassign it from the campaign. If you want it fully removed from Ora, contact support.
